Picasso and Dali prints on-line
01/10/2004

FletcherConsult have just launched www.thegicleegallery.com a new e-commerce website specialising in the sale of high quality 'estate endorsed' pictures by artists like Picasso and Dali.

The website includes our own e-commerce system, configured to suit the specific requirements of The Giclée Gallery. These include an automated picture frame display system where customers can view different frames around their selected print. The website is integrated into the WorldPay e-payment system.

. . . our client's website says:

The Giclée Gallery offers a unique collection of Artist and Estate Endorsed limited edition Giclée prints. These exceptional quality works, previously unpublished in this medium, are exclusive to The Giclée Gallery.

The Giclée Gallery was formed in 2002 by a family partnership with a combined art publishing experience of over 40 years. Recognising the huge technological advance the giclée process offered, the new gallery sought to apply this highly sophisticated technique to reproduce selected art images with an unprecedented level of accuracy.

Initially approaching the Picasso and Dali Estates and choosing images previously unpublished in this medium, the gallery's first giclée prints were met with great acclaim. Building on this initial success, The Giclée Gallery has recently gained permission to offer works by Raoul Dufy, Marc Chagall and Mark Rothko as officially authenticated limited edition giclée's.
